Narrative

A bay east of Stornes Peninsula in the Larsemann Hills. Plotted by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1937-37 and called Pollen (the deep bay).

Named For

Named after MV Thala Dan which made the first approach from the sea to the Larsemann Hills in 1957.
