Narrative

A fjord on the western side of Stornes Peninsula in the Larsemann Hills. It has steep, almost vertical walls.

Named For

Named after Flt. Lt. Douglas Johnston, RAAF, Mawson 1957, who made the first aircraft landing in the Larsemann Hills in a de Havilland Beaver on 12 August 1957.
