Narrative

A glacier about 22 km west of Mawson in Mac.Robertson Land. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Brygga (The Wharf). Renamed after A Forbes of ANARE who perished on a field trip on Heard Island in 1952.
