A large glacier flowing east between the Athos and Porthos Ranges, Prince Charles Mountains, in Mac.Robertson Land. Discovered in December, 1956, by the ANARE southern party led by William G. Bewsher. Named after Homer''''s Scylla. Mythology - Scylla is a dangerous rock on the Italian side of the Strait of Messina, facing Charybdis, a whirlpool on the Sicilian side, both personified in classical mythology as female monsters.
