Narrative

A steep-sided gully at the north-east end of a small valley connecting the eastern side of Lake Burgess with Thala Fjord in the Larsemann Hills.

Named For

Named after Kurt Stüwe, Geologist, University of Melbourne, who made a major contribution to the geology of the area whilst at Law Base during the 1987 summer season.
