Narrative

A nunatak 13 km north-east of Mount Ellis in the Darwin Mountains, rising to about 500 m above the Darwin Glacier in the vicinity of Island Arena. Discovered by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expeditions (1962-63). Named after Professor L.R. Richardson of the Victoria University of Wellington, an active supporter of the Universities Antarctic expeditions.
