Feature type: Island
This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A small, steep-sided island in Crooked Fjord, Vestfold Hills, about 1 km south-east of Zolotov Island.
So named because a colony of about 115 pairs of Cape (Pintado) petrels were found nesting on the island in 1974.
