An island about 0.5 km north-west of Magnetic Island, Vestfold Hills. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37).

Named after K.C. Oldroyd, weather observer (radio) at Davis in 1960.
