Narrative

Two small islands about 3 km south of Auster Islands in the eastern part of the Robinson Group off the Mawson Coast of Mac.Robertson Land. A refuge caravan was established in 1971 on one of the islands, which was occupied as a survey station in February, 1972. Named after Lem E. Macey, Officer-in-Charge at Mawson in 1971.
