An Island about 6.5 km NNW of Archer Point, Oates Land. Discovered by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1958. Plotted from a running survey from the MV Magga Dan in February 1959. Named after the Soviet Polar aviator, M.S. Babushkin.
