A small, rocky island about 244 m high, about 6 km west of Cape Batterbee and 2 km off the coast of Enderby Land.
Discovered and named by BANZARE (1929-31) under Sir Douglas Mawson on 13 January, 1930, when a landing was made and a proclamation read claiming the area for the British Crown.
