rising to 2070m E of Eternity Range, central Graham Land, was probably seen from the air by Wilkins in 1928 and by Ellsworth in 1935; surveyed from the ground by BGLE in December 1936 and shown in 69°35'S 63°51'W (Stephenson, 1940, map facing p.232); photographed from the air by USAS in 1940 and by RARE in 1947; further surveyed from the ground by FIDS RARE from "Stonington Island" in November 1947; named after Col H.R. Sullivan, USAF, of the Office of Research and Development of the then USAAF, who arranged for equipment to be supplied to RARE and whose name was originally applied to Mill Inlet (q.v.) (BA chart 3175, 12.xi.1954; APC, 1955, p.20; DCS 601 sheet 69 62, 1955). Monte Sullivan (Argentina. MM chart 110, 1957). Gora Sallivan (Soviet Union. MMF chart, 1961).

Mountain, 2,070 m, standing 12 mi E of the N part of the Eternity Range, in Palmer Land. This feature lies in the area explored from the air by Sir Hubert Wilkins in 1928 and Lincoln Ellsworth in 1935, but it was first charted by the BGLE in 1936-37. It was photographed from the air in 1940 by the USAS and in 1947 by the RARE under Ronne. Named by Ronne for Col. H.R. Sullivan of the Office of Research and Development of the then USAAF, which furnished equipment for the expedition.

Este accidente cae dentro del área explorada desde el aire por Sir Hubert Wilkins en 1928 y por Lincoln Ellsworth en 1935, aunque sólo fue cartografiado por primera vez por la BGLE en 1936-1937. Fue fotografiado desde el aire en 1940 por el USAS y en 1947 por la RARE al mando de Ronne, quien le puso el nombre por el coronel H. R. Sullivan, de la Oficina de Investigación y Desarrollo de la USAAF que proveyó equipo para la expedición. Monte de aproximadamente 2.070 metros de elevación, que se ubica en el lado S del glaciar Bingham, a unas 15 millas al NE del monte Wakefield, al interior de la costa oriental de la península Tierra de O'Higgins.
