Named by UK-APC in 1995 after Crispin Mark Jeremy Day (b. 1960), long-serving BAS General Field Assistant; at Rothera Station, 1986-89, 1991-92, 1993-94; a member of the BAS field party in the James Ross Island area from 1994-95.
