Plotted by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Sørnuten (The South Peak). This feature was the site of a remote weather station established by ANARE in 1955. Renamed by ANARE after H J L Fischer, Cook at Mawson in 1958. |
