Photographed by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. in 1956-57, and mapped from these photos in 1959. Named by the UK-APC for Maude Abbott (1869-1940), American authority on congenital heart disease. Her classification of this subject is the basis of modern investigation and treatment. |
