COMPOSITE GAZETTEER OF ANTARCTICA

The 240 m long in SW-NE direction and 130 m wide rocky island lying in Belimel Bay on the SW coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 1.37 km N of Asencio Point, 145 m SSE of Alka Island, 3.68 km SSE of Bulnes Point, 2.6 km SSW of Tizoin Point and 180 m NW of Ralida Island. British mapping in 1978.

The 530 m long in SE-NW direction and 300 m wide rocky island in the Larsen Islands group on the W side of Coronation Island in the South Orkney Islands. Situated 2.8 km NW of Moreton Point, 160 m NW of Monroe Island and 200 m SE of Angelov Island. The area was visited by early 19th century sealers. British mapping in 1963.

The gravel barrier spit extending 700 m westward from the N coast of Burgas Peninsula on Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 2.8 km ENE of Rila Point, 5.9 km W of Renier Point, and 1.5 km S of Half Moon Island. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05 and mapping in 2009. Named after the town of Ihtiman in Western Bulgaria.

The mostly ice-covered rocky island 500 m long in SW-NE direction and 150 m wide, lying off the NE coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 8.43 km SW of Cape Neumayer and 10.67 km N of Awl Point. British mapping in 1978.

The point forming the S side of the entrance to Chudomir Cove on the Trinity Peninsula coast of Prince Gustav Channel, Weddell Sea. Situated 4.3 km SW of Pitt Point, 7.56 km SE of Mount Reece, and 7.15 km NW of Largelius Point on James Ross Island. German-British mapping in 1996.

The 320 m long in W-E direction and 140 m wide rocky island lying off the N coast of Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 2.45 km W of Cariz Point, 1.41 km NNE of Baklan Point, 1.73 km ENE of Withem Island and 110 m SW of Fregata Island. British mapping in 1968.

The 380 m long in S-N direction and 210 m wide rocky island lying in Lewthwaite Strait off the E coast of Coronation Island in the South Orkney Islands. Situated 1.75 km NNE of the SE extremity of Coronation Island, 2.48 km S of the NE entrance point of Spence Harbour, and 4.3 km WSW of Cape Disappointment on Powell Island. British mapping in 1963.

The 1.5 km wide cove indenting for 900 m the SW coast of Coronation Island in the South Orkney Islands SE of Return Point and NW of Cheal Point. The area was visited by early 19th century sealers. British mapping in 1963

The rocky point on the S side of the entrance to Istros Bay on the E coast of Clarence Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 8.1 km NNE of Cape Bowles and 3.2 km S of Sugarloaf Island. British mapping in 1972 and 2009.

The rocky island off D’Urville Island in the Joinville Island group extending 470 m in W-E direction and 230 m wide. Situated 1.5 km from the N coast of D’Urville Island, 10.98 km ESE of Cape Juncal, 6.32 km SE of Harris Rock, and 13.8 km WNW of the largest of Français Rocks. British mapping in 1973.

The 1.12 km wide cove indenting for 760 m the N coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Entered W of Albatros Point. Surmounted by Tower Hill on the SW. British mapping in 1978.

The 780 m long in SW-NE direction and 400 m wide rocky island lying off Spert Island on the SW side of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 270 m NW of Spert Island, 3 km NW of Bulnes Point and 6.15 km WSW of Romero Point. British mapping in 1978.

The 1.35 km wide passage between Half Moon Island and Burgas Peninsula on Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the settlement of Mugla in Southern Bulgaria. Approved on June 3, 2010.

The 374 m long in SE-NW direction and 120 m wide rocky island lying off the NE coast of Coronation Island in the South Orkney Islands. Situated 540 m SE of the tip of Cape Bennett and 140 m NE of its nearest point, and 3 km NW of Rayner Point. British mapping in 1963.

The 560 m long in SE-NW direction and 270 m wide rocky island in Ambush Bay on the N coast of Joinville Island. Situated 3.18 km SSW of King Point, 4.72 km WSW of Dalrymple Point and 7.9 km NNE of Taylor Nunataks. British mapping in 1973.

The 2.7 km wide cove indenting for 1 km the NW coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Entered N of Consecuencia Point and S of Burya Point. Surmounted by Ketripor Hill and Tower Hill on the E. British mapping in 1978.

The glacier on Burgas Peninsula, Livingston Island bounded by Petko Voyvoda Peak to the W, Kaloyan Nunatak to the N and Shabla Knoll to the E. Flowing southeastward into Bransfield Strait. Named after the ancient Pautalia, ancestor of the present town of Kyustendil in Western Bulgaria.

The 290 m long in SW-NE direction and 160 m wide rocky island lying in Belimel Bay on the SW coast of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 3.1 km N of Asencio Point, 165 m NNE of Alka Island, 1.95 km SE of Bulnes Point and 470 m SW of Tizoin Point. British mapping in 1978.

The group of rocks in Morton Strait off the NE coast of Snow Island in the South Shetland Islands extending 670 m in W-E direction and 300 m in S-N direction. Centred 1.7 km NW of the NE extremity of President Head, 1 km NE of Karposh Point, and 5.8 km SSW of Devils Point on Livingston Island. The area was visited by early 19th century sealers. Bulgarian mapping in 2009.

The rocky NW entrance point of Krastanov Cove on the SW coast of Elephant Island, South Shetland Islands. Situated 9.4 km NW of Cape Lookout and 2.2 km SE of Stinker Point. British mapping in 1972.
