A rock and ice escarpment curving in a generally south-westerly direction from Mount Canham. It is situated about 13 km SSW of Crohn Massif in the Porthos Range, Princes Charles Mountains. Recorded on terrestrial photography taken by S L Kirkby, surveyor at Mawson in 1956, and on aerial photography by ANARE in 1965. Named after J M Bennett, physicist at Mawson in 1965.
