The southernmost of three mountains lying about 45 miles inland from the west side of the Ross Ice Shelf in the Queen Alexandra Range, and about 30 miles south-south-east of Mt Markham. Discovered and named by the BAE, 1907-09, in 1908. Charles Rabot was editor of the Bulletin of the Société Géographique, Paris, and was an outstanding glaciologist of that period. He was one of the principal supporters of Dr Jean Charcot's expedition in the Pourquoi Pas?, 1908-09.

A mountain, 3,335 m, standing 3 mi SE of Mount Lecointe in Queen Elizabeth Range. Discovered and named by the BrAE (1907-09). Charles Rabot was editor of La Geographie, bulletin of the Societe Geographique, Paris, and was an outstanding glaciologist of that period.
