A frozen lake, about 2.5 km south of Law Base in the Larsemann Hills. The lake is situated under an overhang of plateau ice, with rock boulders marking the eastern and western shores. Named because of the boulders by the 1986-87 ANARE Field Party.

Berger, USN, aircraft pilot who flew the University of Wisconsin traverse party to this area in the 1965-66 season (USGS sketch map Ellsworth Land-Palmer Land, 1969; APC, 1975, p.3; BAS 500P sheet SS 17-20/SE, 1-DOS 1981).

A mountain with a steep northern rock face, standing 2 mi NE of Mount Becker in the Merrick Mountains, Ellsworth Land. Mapped by USGS from surveys and USN air photos, 1961-67. Named by US-ACAN for Lt. Cdr. Raymond E. Berger, USN, aircraft pilot who flew the University of Wisconsin Traverse Party to this area and flew support missions in its behalf in the 1965-66 season.
