one of the SW Joubin Islands (q.v.), off Anvers Island, following the work of USARP personnel from "Palmer Station" from 1965, was named after Stephen H. Robbins, Jr, able seaman in RV Hero on her first Antarctic voyage in 1968 (APC, 1975, p.5; BAS 250P sheet SQ 19-20/3, 1-DOS 1979).
