rising to 955m between Aitkenhead Glacier and Diplock Glacier, Trinity Peninsula, was surveyed by FIDS from "Hope Bay" in August 1945; named after Capt. David William Roberts (1886-1970) who, as Manager of the Falkland Islands Company in Stanley, 1939-49, was of assistance to FIDS (BA chart 3205, 12.ii.1954; APC, 1955, p.18; BAS 250 sheets SP 21-22/13 and SQ 21-22/1 (Ext.), 1-DOS 1974). Monte Roberts (Argentina. MM chart 124, 1957; Chile. IHA, 1974, p.243). The mountain was further surveyed by FIDS from "Hope Bay", 1960-61.

Dark, mostly ice-free rock peak with a flat, sloping top, 955 m, which is isolated from the Detroit Plateau to the W and lies 3 mi S of Aitkenhead Glacier on the S side of Trinity Peninsula. First charted by the FIDS, 1945, and named for D.W. Roberts, Manager of the Falkland Islands Co. in 1945, who was of assistance to the expedition.

El FIDS fue el primero en cartografiarlo en el año1945, fue denominado así en honor a D. W. Roberts, director de la Compañía de Islas Falkland en 1945, quien ayudó a la expedición. Es un pico casi totalmente cubierto de hielo, alcanza 957 metros de altura, está situado al W del canal Príncipe Gustavo a 8 millas de su eje y a 5 millas al E del islote Alectoria.
