E point of Parker Peninsula, Anvers Island, was roughly charted by BeAE in February 1898 and named Cape Van Ryswyck (Cook, 1900, map p.xx) or Cap Van Ryswyck (Lecointe, 1903, Carte 5) after M. Van Ryswyck, Burgomaster of Anvers (Antwerp) and a supporter of the expedition (Gerlache, 1900b, p.521).
