S side of Hero Bay, N Livingston Island, was charted by DI, 1933-34; photographed from the air by FIDASE, 1956-57, and surveyed from the ground by FIDS, 1957-59; in association with the names of nineteenth-century sealers, named after Capt. Richard Siddins, Master of the Australian sealing ship Lynx (Lynx Rocks, q.v.) (APC, 1959(23); BA chart 3205, 23.xi.1962; 1776, 19.vii. 1968).

Point projecting into the middle of the head of Hero Bay on the N coast of Livingston Island, in the South Shetland Islands. Named by the UK-APC in 1958 for Capt. Richard Siddins, Master of the Australian sealer Lynx of Sydney, who visited the South Shetland Islands in 1820-21 and 1821-22.
