A completely ice-covered island, 10 mi long and 5 mi wide, lying 4 mi SW of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. This island was known to both American and British sealers as early as 1820, and the name has been well established in international usage for over 100 years.

Esta isla la conocieron a un mismo tiempo los cazadores de focas americanos e ingleses a comienzos de 1820 y el nombre Snow está establecido internacionalmente hace más de 100 años. Está cubierta por un manto de hielo, mide 10 millas de largo por un ancho de 4, está situada a 4 millas al S de la isla Livingston, en las islas Shetland del Sur. La isla es de altura moderada y pareja, alcanza una elevación máxima de 210 mts.
