A mountain on the long ridge between Mts Erebus and Terror on Ross Island. It is snow-covered except for its peak. The island was first explored by the NAE, 1901-04, under Scott, who named this peak for the Terra Nova, one of the relief ships for this expedition, and also the expedition ship for the BAE, 1910-13.
