between Rahir Point and Étienne Fjord, Flandres Bay, Danco Coast, was charted by FAE, 1903-05, and named Baie Thomson after Gaston-Arnold-Marie Thomson (1848-1932), French politician and Ministre de la Marine in 1905, who was of assistance to this expedition and to FAE, 1908-10 (Charcot, 1906b, p.472; Matha and Rey, 1911, Pl. 3).
