A narrow cove in the eastern part of Lutzow-Holm Bay. It indents the W side of Skarvsnes Foreland 1.5 mi W of Mount Suribachi, on the coast of Queen Maud Land. Mapped from surveys and air photos by JARE, 1957-62. The name "Torinosu-wan" (bird's nest cove) was given by JARE Headquarters in 1973.

A narrow cove, like estuary, indenting the eastern side of Skarvsnes. First mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Mapped in detail (1:25000) from surveys and air photos by JARE, 1959-73, and named Torinosu Wan (bird's-nest cove).
