the smallest of the Seal Nunataks (q.v.), Oscar II Coast, was mapped by FIDS from Hope Bay in August 1947; named after Gustaf Åkerlundh, the youngest member of SwAE, who wintered at Snow Hill Island in 1902 and 1903 (APC, 1955, p.4).

Nunatak which lies 2 mi NW of Donald Nunatak between Bruce and Murdoch Nunataks in the Seal Nunataks group, off the E coast of Antarctic Peninsula. Charted in 1947 by the FIDS, who named it for Gustaf Akerlundh, a member of the SwedAE, 1901-04.
