the smallest of the Seal Nunataks (q.v.), Oscar II Coast, was mapped by FIDS from Hope Bay in August 1947; named after Gustaf Åkerlundh, the youngest member of SwAE, who wintered at Snow Hill Island in 1902 and 1903 (APC, 1955, p.4). |
