Nunatak rising to 1,400 m, standing 15 mi NW of Brattnipane Peaks in the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition,1936-37, and in 1957 from air photos taken by USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47. Named Vesthaugen (the west hill) by the Norwegians.
