An icy headland, marked by several rock exposures, which forms the western elevated portion of Botnneset Peninsula on the S side of Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and named Vesthovde (west knoll).
