An island in the Balleny Islands. It is about 2 miles long and 1 mile wide, lying about 5 miles southward of the south-eastern extremity of Young Island. Discovered in February 1839 by Balleny who named it for W Borradaile, one of the seven London merchants who joined wit hCharles Enderby in sending out the expedition.

One of the Balleny Islands, about 2 mi long and 1 mi wide, lying 4 mi southeastward of Young Island. Discovered in February 1839 by John Balleny, who named it for W. Borradaile, one of the merchants who united with Charles Enderby in sending out the expedition.

A mountain about 2,040 m above sea level, mainly ice-free, situated 11 km north-east of Fault Bluff. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by USACAN after J.P. Gudmunson USN, explosive expert who wintered at Little America V in 1957; he blasted the foundation for the nuclear power plant at McMurdo Station during USN Operation Deepfreeze 1961.
