NW coast of Fildes Peninsula, King George Island, following geological work by BAS, 1975-76, was named from the crude stone hut, evidently built by nineteenth-century sealers, on the bay (APC, 1980, p.3). Dos Lobos Marinhos (Brazil. PenĂ­nsula Fildes map, 1984 ).

A small bay on the NW side of Fildes Peninsula, King George Island. The entrance is 0.7 mi SE of Square End Island and the bay is backed by a wide beach, with low cliffs on the NE and SW sides. The name, applied by UK-APC in 1977, is suggested by a crude stone hut (bothy), evidently built by nineteenth-century sealers, on the shore of the bay.

A peak 6 km west of western extremity of Mt Menzies massif in the Prince Charles Mountains. First seen by Flying Officer J. Seaton from an ANARE aircraft in 1956. Mapped by the ANARE southern seismic party, 1957-58, led by K.B. Mather, after whom it was named.
