Group of peaks, the highest 2,660 m, standing 9 mi NW of Mefjell Mountain in the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and in 1957 in greater detail from air photos taken by USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47. Named Brattnipane (the steep peaks) by the Norwegians.
