The nunatak rising to 490 m in Tangra Mountains, Livingston Island. Projecting from the tributary glacier draining the W slopes of Friesland Ridge between St. Boris Peak and Simeon Peak. Situated 1.94 km WSW of St. Boris Peak, 1.39 km NNE of Stambolov Crag, and 3.7 km SE of Willan Nunatak. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after the town of Tran in Western Bulgaria. |
