The 10-km wide peninsula projecting 13 km in NW direction from Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula. Bounded by Curtiss Bay to the NE, Hughes Bay to the SW and Gerlache Strait to the NW. Its W extremity Cape Sterneck separates Danco Coast to the SW and Davis Coast to the NE. Named for the Bulgarian rebel leader Chavdar Voyvoda (16th century).
