The 11.2 km wide bay indenting for 4.5 km Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land N of Balvan Point and S of the E extremity of Richard Knoll. Formed as a result of the break-up of Larsen Ice Shelf in the area in the late 20th century, and subsequent retreat of Drygalski Glacier. Antarctic Digital Database mapping in 2012. Named after the settlement of Solari in Northern Bulgaria.
