The passage long 5.8 km in SW-NE direction and 1.05 km wide in Biscoe Islands, between Lavoisier Island on the E and Krogh Island on the W. An eponymous island 420 m long in SW-NE direction and 150 m wide is lying in the narrowest part of the passage, formed as a result of the retreat of the ice cap of Lavoisier Island in the early 21st century. British mapping in 1976. Named after the Bulgarian composer Pancho Vladigerov (1899-1978).
