The rounded ice-covered buttress extending 8.5 km in SE-NW direction and 10.5 km in SW-NE direction, rising to 1600 m on Davis Coast in Graham Land. Situated on the NW side of Detroit Plateau, 23 km SSE of Havilland Point. Topola Ridge and few smaller ridges branch from the feature on the N. Steep SW, NW and E slopes. Surmounts Henson Glacier and its tributary to the SW and W, and some tributaries to Temple Glacier to the N and E. British mapping in 1978. Named after the settlement of Zabernovo in Southeastern Bulgaria.
