rising to 475m near N end of Tabarin Peninsula, Trinity Peninsula, was surveyed by FIDS from "Hope Bay" in 1946 and so named from the cairn erected on the E of the two summits (APC, 1955, p.6; DOS 310 Hope Bay sheet, 1961). Cordón Don Bosco, so called after the religious order (Olsacher and others, 1956, p.86). Cerro Don Bosco (Argentina, MD, 1978, letter D).

Hill with two summits, the higher 475 m, standing 2 mi E of Duse Bay and 1 mi SW of Mineral Hill on Tabarin Peninsula. First charted by the FIDS in 1946, who so named it because a cairn was erected on the eastern of the two summits.

Fue cartografiado por primera vez en 1946 por el FIDS, que le dio el nombre de Cairn Hill debido a que se eligió como señal un montón de piedras (cairn) al E de las dos cimas. El nombre actual corresponde al apellido del cabo 1º mecánico de aviación Exequiel Garrido Pino, Fuerza Aérea de Chile, quien participó en la componente aérea de la Expedición Antártica Chilena de 1946-1947, a bordo del transporte "Angamos" de la Armada de Chile. Cerro con dos cimas, de aproximadamente 460 metros de elevación, situado a unas 2 millas al E de la playa NE de bahía Duse, península Tabarín, en el extremo NE de la península de Tierra de O'Higgins.
