A group of rocks on the northern side of Bailey Peninsula, Windmill Islands, in Newcomb Bay south of Kilby Island. The region was photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47), ANARE (1956 and 1962) and the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956). The rocks were included in a hydrographic survey of Newcomb Bay by d'A.T. Gale, hydrographic surveyor with the ANARE Expedition (Thala Dan), 1962, led by Phillip Law. Named from Bailey Peninsula.

properly an ice rise in Carroll Inlet, English Coast, was seen from the air by USAS in December 1940 and by RARE in December 1947; photographed from the air by USN, 1965-66, and mapped from air photographs by USGS; named after Francis H. Case (1896-1962), US Senator who assisted in obtaining Government support to provide a ship for RARE (USGS sketch map Bryan Coast-Ellsworth Land, 1968; APC, 1975, p.3; BAS sheet Misc.2, 1981).

A roughly circular ice-covered island, 12 mi in diameter, lying off the coast of Ellsworth Land. The island lies in Carroll Inlet between the mainland and Smyley Island. Mapped by USGS from surveys and U.S. Navy aerial photographs, 1961-66. The name was suggested by Finn Ronne for Senator Francis H. Case (1896-1962), who assisted in obtaining Government support to provide a ship for the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition, 1947-48.
