Name ID: 2528 Place ID: 8678

A tongue of rock about 12 m high projecting from the continental ice edge for about 165 m situated about 44 km west of Mawson. Plotted by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Lagtangen (Low Tongue). First visited by ANARE western parties in 1954-55.
