A bare rock spur next S of Forlidas Ridge in the Dufek Massif, Pensacola Mountains, q.v. Named at the suggestion of party leader Arthur B. Ford, USGS, after Samuel D. Clemons, steward, USN Squadron VXE-6, with the USGS Pensacola Mountains survey, 1965-66.

Valley trending north-northeast from southern uplands (at latitude 71° 30'' 20'' S and longitude 67° 35'' E ) where valley then turns sharply (about 90 degrees at latitude 71° 28'' 05" S and longitude 67° 41'' 10"E ) to trend east southeast to eastern boundary of Fisher Massif with the Lambert Glacier at latitude 71° 30'' 20" S and longitude 67° 35'' E. The valley provides an excellent route for travel about Fisher Massif.
