Mountain, 2,440 m, in the S part of the Royal Society Range, standing at the head of Koettlitz Glacier and forming a part of the divide between the Koettlitz and the lower Skelton Glacier. Discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (BrNAE) (1901-04) which named it for E.L. Somers Cocks, then Treasurer of the Royal Geographical Society.
