This ice slope forms part of the Circle Icefall in the Darwin Glacier and appears to be the only route through the icefall. This descriptive name was given by the Darwin Glacier Party of the TAE (1956-58), who made the first descent of the Darwin Glacier. |

The slope is at the W end of the Circle Icefall in Darwin Glacier and appears to be the only route through the icefall. Descriptively named by the Darwin Glacier Party of the CTAE, 1956-58, which made the first descent of the glacier. |

A bank with less than 18 m of water, about 3 km from the summit of Shirley Island, Windmill Islands. The bank is about 90 m long (north-south) and 45 m wide, least depth found was 16 m. Charted in January 1962 during a survey of Newcomb Bay and approaches by d' A.T. Gale, hydrographic surveyor with the ANARE Expedition on the MV Thala Dan led by Phillip Law. Named after Ludvig Larsen, second mate on the M.V. Thala Dan in 1962. |
