A dark rock point which emerges from the ice at the south side of the mouth of Mackay Glacier, on the coast of Victoria Land. Discovered by the BAE, 1907-09, and so named because it resembled "a black hand stretched out from a snowy cuff".

A dark rock point emerging from the icy coast of Victoria Land, immediately S of Mackay Glacier. Mapped by the BrAE (1910-13) and so named because the dark rock resembles a hand extending from a snowy cuff.
