A peak about 914m high, in the Prince Olav Mountains, standing west of the Liv Glacier and north-east of Mt Wade in the Queen Maud Range. Discovered by the Byrd AE, 1928-30, when Byrd was on a flight to the Queen Maud Range in November 1929. Named by him for Robert W Daniel, of Lower Brandon, Virginia, a contributor to the expedition.
