Discovered by the US Ross Ice Shelf Traverse Party under A P Crary, in the 1957-58, and named for Lieutenant Earl D Dryfoose, (Jr), pilot of USN Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze Operations. |

Discovered by the U.S. Ross Ice Shelf Traverse Party (1957-58) under A.P. Crary, and named after Lt. Earl D. Dryfoose, Jr., USNR, pilot of USN Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze operations. |
