W arm of Admiralty Bay, King George Island, was charted by FAE, 1908-10, in December 1909 and named Fiord Ezcurra after Pedro de Ezcurra (1859-1911), Argentine politician and Minister of Agriculture in 1908, who assisted FAE (Charcot, 1912, Pl.1). Fjord Ezcurra (Bongrain, 1914, Pl.3 (upper photograph) following p.60). Ezcurra Fiord (Tyrrell, 1921, p.71). Ezcurra Inlet (BA chart 3213, 14.i.1929; APC, 1955, p.9; DOS 610 sheet W 62 58, 1968). Estero Ezcurra (Chile. DNH chart 502, 1947). Fiordo Ezcurra (Argentina. CNA, 1947, p.60). Ensenada Ezcurra (Argentina. MM chart 104, 1949; Pierrou, 1970, p.353; Chile, IHA, 1974, p.120). The inlet was photographed from the air and surveyed from the ground by FIDASE, 1956-57. Estrecho Ezcurra, as rejected form (Chile. IHA, 1974, p.120).

Inlet forming the W arm of Admiralty Bay, King George Island, in the South Shetland Islands. Charted by FrAE, 1908-10, under Charcot, and named Fiord Ezcurra after Pedro de Ezcurra (1859-1911), Argentine politician and Minister of Argriculture in 1908, who assisted FrAE.

Fue denominada probablemente por la Expedición Antártica Francesa, 1908-1910 al mando del Dr. Jean B. Charcot, quien cartografió la bahía Almirantazgo en diciembre de 1908, en recuerdo del ministro de Agricultura Argentino, Pedro de Ezcurra. Ensenada que se forma sobre la costa occidental de la bahía Almirantazgo. Las costas de la ensenada son acantiladas salvo en punta Thomas, sus aguas son profundas y limpias.
