Arctowski Peninsula, Danco Coast, flowing S into Andvord Bay, was photographed from the air by FIDASE and surveyed from the ground by FIDS from Danco Island in 1956-57; named after Dominique-Franc ois-Jean Arago (1786-1853), French geodesist, who first demonstrated the application of photography to mapping in 1839, in association with the names of pioneers of photogrammetry grouped in this area (APC, 1960, p.2; BA chart 3566, 25.viii.1961). Glacier flowing into Andvord Bay just NW of Moser Glacier, on the W coast of Graham Land. Mapped by the FIDS from air photos taken by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. in 1956-57. Named by the UK-APC in 1960 for Dominique-Francois-Jean Arago (1786-1853), French geodesist who first demonstrated the application of photography to mapmaking in 1839.

A tributary glacier of the Hatherton Glacier, which drains the northern slopes of Mount Olympus, between Johnstone Ridge and Dusky Ridge. Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by USACAN after B.J. Lieske, meteorologist, who wintered at Little America V in 1957.
