Nace al W en el cabo Adams y avanza hacia el SE hasta alcanzar su punta más austral en lat. 78º 15' S - long. 45º 20' W. Esta barrera limita al S con el mar de Weddell y frente a ella se observa una zona de aguas libres de un ancho considerable durante la temporada de verano. |
